But on a serious note, do you guys really think a paid holiday for that entire state helps anything? Tax payers there just voted to hand over their money to people whom arnt even working. Why? Because we elected a new president? Hell in that case there should be 43 other holidays. It's said people don't see that they are being racist in that aspect. I agree with this post. I don't think the voters in Alabama thought this one through. Yes, Obama being elected was a huge step in the history of blacks. It by no means deserves the waste of money and attention its getting. At least wait until he has served some of his term, and we see this change that has been promised.
