what exactly do i need for the air bag suspension? cause i look at these kits and their like $1,300, but then i look at the parts seperatly And it seems way cheaper. air bags $50 a piece. compresser like 240. what else is there that makes it so expensive?

Bag Mounts, Fittings, Line, Gauges and Switches ,etc... The biggest expense is usually the bag mounts. What kind of vehicle is this for?

i say your valves and maybe the compressor,if you got metal laying around and know how to weld the mounts won't be a problem.

this is gonna b on an expedition. i also have a question. my expo already came with stock air bags is there a way i can hook those up to a new compresser and the rest of the stuff so i dont have to install new air bags?

no i wouldnt suggest using the bags that came stock on your expo. they wont beable to handle the pressure or load. they are designed to work together with your factory springs.

ok, heres a list of what you will be needing:

4 bags (i would do slam re7s up front and re8s in the rear)

a rear link setup (many options, but i like 4 links)

compressor

8 valves

switchbox

frame notch

front bag mounts

lots of fittings

tank

pressure switch

relay for the compressor

shocks for the rear

water trap

gauges

airline (for both gauges and bags)

this is just a quick off the top of my head list

o. well so much for that plan. i was thinkin about just droppin it from the front but now i think im gonna save up and buy air bags. Have u guys seen a plug and play kit and airbagit.com? do you think that will work?

the reason I wouldnt bad a 4wd id because it takes way too much work to get it to lay on the frame. but thats just me, I like the drag the frame on the ground.

Honestly, if you are not into building the truck over time and having the opprotunity to buy each part as you find a good deal, just buy a kit and save a headache.
