as to so many people voting for the idiots? you would get that in ANY state, so don't give me that shit that only CA idiots would vote for a **** star or larry flynt. it by no means represents the majority...

the only reason that arnold won was because uninformed voters thought "oh arnold he'd be great!" and then they voted for him. it's kind of unfortunate to have the terminator as our governor, but if his advisory board is halfway decent it might work out...

another thing...

arnold gained a lot of votes by saying that he would cut, cut, and cut more taxes. this gained him a lot of votes, but our goddam state cant afford to cut taxes! where is that money we are losing from car taxes etc. going to have to come from? basically he won on an inconsistent and stupid platform...people just seemed to like his idea of less taxes.

What happened to good politicians. It's ironic that out of a country of 280 million people that the two leading parties could only produce George W and Gore. No wonder why less than half the country will participate in elections. Its funny that the people we choose to run our country I wouldn't want to run my local 7 Eleven in fear of them giving me the wrong change out of stupidity. I don't think Arnold is qualified to run one of the most influencial states in the country but it didn't sound like the former qualified govenor was doing that great of a job. If Arnold plays his cards right we may see him in the white house within the end of the decade. Ronald Reagan isn't the only actor who can get up there.
