Ahhhh....the wonderful guy in brown shows up again

no..we have areas that are like ottawa hills in toledo. we have alot of nice neighborhoods where the house start at 300k+.... i mean i realize this ain't toledo but you gotta understand we only have 30-40k population and only about 3 large well paying companys to work for

im just saying like it reminds me of Jackson, MI just like a real run-down town business are going out-of business the mall is run-down there are no jobs whatsoever..

kinda like Flint,MI the GM or FORD plant closed down there and there was really no jobs in the area so the town just went all to hell..

i dunno thats what it reminded me of

we have definately taken a beating on jobs here....the army tank plant went from over 8000 workers at one point down to less than 800, we lost teledyne, westinghouse, sunstrand, excello, the Dana plant here is down to under 100 people, the Lima Correctional facility shutdown (600+ jobs) all thats left is Procter & Gamble, Ford engine plant, The refinery, and the Allen county correctional facility. Over the last 10 years we've lost 22,000 population

 
yeah you definately didn't get to see anything of our fair town, you saw the run down mall....only thing there anymore is andersons, bw3, value city and the movie theater. We have another mall probably most comparable to northtown mall when it was still decent.

hence the reason for the town being run-down lol
