I'm 19, been into it since 16(but at that point I would cut OEM harnesses for HU's and not fuse power lines etc. I got lucky) About 1 year of legit installs under my belt at this point. Not really sure if I'm more into SPL or SQ, I guess a mix. I just play around until I find what I like at the time.

my name is tyler and im 26 i messed around with car audio since i was like 18 but i really got into it just in the last 3 years. before i just threw stuff together and jammed now i calculate all my installs and let me tell u what a huge difference, my 1st setup was 3 12" in a bandpass on a kicker mono amp pushin like 5oorms and i thought i was the shit now i have a single 12" LOADED BTL on 3k+ and it hurts i also now upgrade my front stage unlike back in the day when it was ALL SUB!!! lol

im 18. and have been interested in car audio since i could literally pic up a magazine. i have CA&E's and Autosound magazines dating back to 1997. back then i was just lookin at the pics but i still go back and read through them. i built my first system in a boat when i was 12. my dad does construction so i was taught woodworking at a very young age. i have won numerous awards for installs at shows. anyone that has seen my builds on here knows what im talkin about lol. i am into spl more than sq personally, but i go through phases haha.

36 here. Started off as a sq freak when I was 17. I realized fairly recently that I reallllly like bass, so I ditched the 12w6v2's and put in some DC lvl 4 15's.

Just turned 24, been into audio since I was about 16, more-so home audio. Around 18 I got a aftermarket car h/u and some speakers then did some installs for friends up until about a year ago. A buddy bought a full system and wanted a cheap way to install it. After that I knew I had to put full audio in my car and I finally had extra $ to start thrownin at the car. Only within the past 9 months have I really been into the science and physics of acoustics, kinda wish I was smarter so I could be an acoustic engineer. I go for the middle of sq and spl. I LOVE deep LOW (

i am 34 and i am a car audio JUNKY. i started building my car @ 16 when i bought it a month before my rd test,lol.

i did part time installs til was late 20's ,now only do for a select few. i got tired of the public 2 yrs ago and dont need there money.

i build alot of custom subs, box them up and put in a closet because i am a addict...lol

I'm 21, been into car audio about 7 years (since my older sister got her first car and let me mess with the stereos in it). When it comes to my own daily driver I prefer SQ, when it comes to my mess around truck its SPL. When I do a build for someone locally I tend to to a combination of the two, make it sound great and still pound nicely.
