OK folks out of curiousity how old is everyone and how long have you been involved in car audio? Do you look for SQ or SPL?
I am 39 and been involved in car audio for 20 years. When I was in my 20's I wanted SPL up until I hit 37, now I want SQ

I'm 45, built my first pair of speakers before hitting my teens, and have been involved with audio ever since. I like all audio, car audio being my least favorite and most frustrating. As for system composition and setup, I only care about SQ. Loud is great, but it ain't worth much to me if the sound lacks clarity, definition, and detail. Really, I'm solely concerned with listening to music, and everything else follows.
