correct i have to go after the shop my lawyer (family friend for freeyou're going to have to sue the shop's or UPS' panties off. get in touch with your lawyer and tell him the whole story and see who is at fault for all this. is it UPS' fault for mishandling the item and breaking it or is it the shop's fault for doing a half-*** job of packing the HU..? is the shop even obligated to send it back to eclipse for you or are YOU, the consumer, expected to do that? you need to find these things out and find the scapegoat so u can get your damn money back to buy an alpine... and i don't think the manufacturer is at fault for anything they are just doing their job.. for all they know, you sent a crushed HU in and claimed it was in perfect cosmetic condition...
I dont think its eclipes fault that some idiots arnt capable of shipping a HU to them. UPS & that current shop would be the ones at fault. The shop for not being smart enough to insure it (its thats the case) & UPS for damaging the goods being shipped. One of them has to pay up.Either eclipse or the shop owes you a new deck.

from where? i do have proof of purchase yes. eclipse and the owner have confirmed that the hu came from blazin....the only record i have of the hu now is me paying for it and the warranty card and the reciept from my local dealer when i tried to get them to send it back to eclipse....so to answer your question.......YESdo you have a reciept?
