was gonna run my old school MTX thunder 275 and 2150 for a little setup in my 64 galaxie... thing is the rear speakers are really oddly placed to cant hear em unless they get big power LOL.. so i was gonna ignore em..

but ive been thinkin of a decent 5 channel amp instead of those 2 amps..

6x9s in front, 5.25s in back (crappy ones now, was thinking of goin to 6.5s or just better 5.25s, they are basically on the floor under the rear seat facing the front seat, so cant barely hear em anyways, plays more outside than anything), and a old school kicker solobaric 10" for bass...

I'd suggest keeping what you have and ditching the whole rear fill idea, but that is just me.

im thinkin that too LOL.. but idk just yet... tryin to also simplify wiring since its an old car... i could possibly fit a nice 5 channel under the dash and have everything right there..

its also a convertible, so i know gettin bass will be an issue... in the future i may upgrade sub but for my own personal issues with trunk space etc the solobaric is cool cause i can hide it right behind the back seat under the top facing backwards.. i hope taht will sound decent

ps - think the 2150x would be ok on that solobaric 10? its in a small sealed box, the ones they used to sell with em, about 1cft... its a 4ohm

I don't see why it wouldn't be enough. I ran the second generation, 4 ohm SVC, Solobaric 12 in my 1996 Thunderbird from 1996 to 1999 with a circa 1989, pre-HD, Rockford Fosgate Punch 150 bridged to it. IIRC, the Thunder 2150 is way more underrated than my Punch 150 was. In fact, a buddy of mine is still rocking that same amp and sub in his 2001 Civic.
