Do you already have the L7's? If not, I would suggest the 15's, they are a completely different beast.

8 15L7's w/ 1500w each would kill. Build something like Steve Mick's.

I would do the same with the 15's but angle the baffles out a little more.

Are the new L7's better than the older ones. I haven't been too impressed by the previous ones ever since I switched to different subs.

I haven't been impressed by the 06's/07's. In a lot of my testing L7's and CVX's have been walked all over by other subs. A lot of people have came to the same conclusion (including one of your teammates). But, it seems that you've had a lot of luck with them?

They tested 10" and 12's..... 15's are a different thing. Thats why I recommended the OP go with those over the 12's.
