aero ports

How do you calculat the size of aero ports i have 180 inches of port.

So what size do i need 8,10,12s.

12 inch aero port is 113"

10 inch 78.5"

8 inch is 50.24 "

6 inch is 28.26"

if you want 180" aero port your gonna have to use multiple pipes that sum together to get you close to 180

If your buying ports they should have the area listed

Thanks man a guy told me when using aero port I need to use 4-10 inches of port per cubec ft if that's right.

6-10. lower for more flat less output. Higher for more peak more output

Ok this is my first time trying to build a box using aero ports my subs say 16 cube inches per cube ft so I want to get it right,i know how to get the.

16 slot = 8 areo

Ok so my box is 12 cubes net before subs so I need 96 cubec inches of port when using the areo port.

dude post your equipment, what are you using and your box measurements, ill help you out!!!

for 12cuft net (means after port and sub displacement discounted from entire volume)

Ok 10.5 net box is 16 high 36 deep 44 wide subs two soundqub hdc318 37 hz apk 3500 at .5 ohms,

You will be better off with 15s in you only have 10 net

Yeah, run a single 18" or a pair of 15"s with that little area. We just rammed a pair of 15"s in the trunk of an Avenger and it's just pretty disappointing when you don't have the room you need. My 10"s in a proper box outperformed the 15"s...

well I got enough room to go 12 net cubes
