aero ports have flared ends.

so if i ant got the money for the aero port witch i dont. i can do it with just round ports that i flare my pvc sgh 80

do i need less port area for a round port then a sq or slot port would really like to know. i want to do 38 hurtz with 6 4'' round ports flared the box is 38.5 wide 34 deep 15 high all out side displacement befor ports is 9.05 is the net volume . the 6 ports will be either 9 or 10 inches in box the rest will be exrnal.

port area is around 75 or so i am doing all these numbers in my head real fast. i do have all meuserments writen down. to exact. really just wondering if round ports need the same or less as a slot or sq port?

instead of using all the smaller ports, you could just get 8' sono tubes and use 2 of those. if you put a piece of mdf at the end of the sono you can make it flared a little like an aero.
