Well I'm designing a box for my 18" btl and its about 8.6 before displacement. I have a bunch of 4" pvc laying around so I was wondering how many/how long each port would have to be to tune to around 31 hz. Also if anyone could explain proper port area per cube thatd be much appreciated. Thanks.

if you cut 4 pieces at 12" long that would give you tuning around 31-32hz

pretty sure you want more than 4x 4" pvc ports

from what I've seen here almost 10in^2 per cube for pvc.

a single 4" is ~12in^2+ so you need like 6 of them and they will be longer
