In search of the truth
Hello everybody.
I'm new in the Forum and it's great learning from all you guys.
I'll appreciate your help with this.
I have the following system that I'm about to install in my Honda Civic 2000.
Head Unit
Alpine CDA-7995
Amps
JL Audio 300/4
JL Audio 500/1
Speakers
MB Quart QM 218.61 Q
MB Quart PVF 216
Subwoofer
JL Audio W7 12"
Sound Processing
Audiocontrol EQS Equalizer
Audiocontrol EPIC-160
Coustic XM-3e Crossover
I'd like your advice and opinions about using or not the XM-3e as the system crossover, or get rid of it and stick to the crossover that the JL Audio amps have.
Also, the MB Quart speakers have passive crossovers.
I'm lost and I would really like your help.
Is it well balanced?
Do I need more bass?
What does it need? What does not need?
Thanks!
