advice on sound deader...

I am about to change systems. Going from two MTX 15s to two 15 inch solo-baric L5s. I want to use some sound deadner this time around to prevent the horrible trunk rattle. Sounds good on the inside but crap on the outside. I would like it to sound half way decent on the outside. So of course I am going to put sound deadner along my trunk.

I was wondering if its a good idea to put sound deadner on the inside of a sealed box? Thats not really concering the rattling I was just wondering if that would make it sound better...would it make it any louder or not as loud?

I think you should try to find out what exactly is rattling besides your trunk. Most of the rattling sounds come from your license plate, gas tank, and rear wiper if you have one
