advice on new car audio system

ill take it in AGAIN tomorrow after work but im not so sure about it overheating after turning the gain up the speakers still sound great at high volume but the systems cuts out alot more frequently and it ISNT due to it heating up over xxx period of time...

the max volume is 35 and lets say i have it at 28,it wont cut out at 28 but if i turn it to 30 it might cut out after a bit...if i turn it up to 32+ it will cut out pretty quickly and to get the system back on i just have to turn volume down to around 25'ish and its as if nothing happend...(at no point do the speakers sound distorted,so the speakers arent blown or blowing or anything as far as i can tell)

if i was you i would go and see if there is anyway to get your money back....in no way shape or form should you have paid that much for a setup....And i would not have them build you a box...i am sure someone here would be able to build you a nice box for cheaper then what the will charge....I am sorry to hear that you got took that way....I Hope u enjoy it.
theyre the ones that are gonna be the ones paying for their inept installation skills,2 subwoofers fried and still plenty of problems to go...5 yr warranty...im averaging 2 visits to them a week.

i spent so much im not gonna have a custom box made for awhile, luckly they gave me a box for free that actually went with the sub after the first 2 subwoofers blew (they replaced em for free...warranty)...but ya i agree,i wont be going there any longer except warranty service.

could've possibly been just the fuses needed to run an amp? i just got my system installed in my car from mickey shorr not too long ago, and i had two amps, but instead of getting two amp wiring kits, the guy suggested I get one amp wiring and use all the spare wire from my first amp, to wire up my second amp since my amps are literally right on top of my battery, so I don't need 20ft of cable for each amp, so he sold me one amp kit, and the fuses needed to wire the second kit seperately...
which mickey shorr was that? the one i went to is in farmington hills,mi

livonia. if you look up the number for the livonia one on their website, call them and ask to talk to Shane. He's the manager there, and he's the guy that I dealt with, and he was really cool about everything. it's only like 8 miles away from the one you are going to...

With any major purchase in life you should shop around for the best deals before spending your hard earned money. I don't mean to be mean but as much as they are to blame for charging you those prices YOU are the one who paid them! Next time read a few reviews on the products you are thinking of getting and maybe even listen to the displays at the shops and also call around to a few shops for the best install prices!
