Advantages of subs Boxes

I have had my type-r's and I want them louder....should I put them in that box? Good box setup in your opinion? should I stay circular ports or should I go rectangular? thanks?

I just tune the box by the cubic volume and by the port diameter and length right? Does that sound good to you using 3 3"x13" circular ports in a 3.1 cubic foot box? ports will be facing the same way as the subs.

some one please help...I wanna make sure these specs on this box are good. I also forgot to mention that my amp has a fixed 20 hz subsonic filter. Will this box be alright for my subs (safe) and will it sound good (alpine recommends 1.0-1.25 cubic feet per sub for ported boxes)

well u gotta know how big the box needs to be b4 u can determnine the length of the port, but u tune the box differentlly by the lengths of the ports

well I already have the box built and it is 3.1 cubic feet..... So I have to keep it that size, However, I can change port sizes and lengths to whatever I want. So with that box size in mind....are 3 3"x 13" ports sounding good??

come on....what should I make my ports diameters and length be to make my subs as loud as they can and so I can FEEL the bass better? I listen to mostly rap and rock.
