Advanced Amp Problem.

The amp is an older American Bass amp. I'm not 100% sure on the model because it is my friends. Wiring of the subs is not relevant at this point neither is the wiring of the remote wire, or ground. I can say this because it goes into protection wether or not its hooked up to the subs and we also fed it the power and remote from my car and it went into protection.

The problem is very simple.

The amp goes directly into protection when it gets power.

What do you guys think?

get a DMM and make sure you are getting 12v on power and remote... i've seen a remote wire or power wire give less than 10v and the amp will go into protection... just one more thing 2 check before you trash it

if the amp goes straight to protect, it has a blown channel, PM me I can fix them... at a good price...lemme know.
Really, that is the ONLY thing that could be wrong with it? What about the aforementioned information about too little power from the remote wire?
