What's with the anger from some people. I know Adire had some quality issues but so far as I knew the made good. Did I miss a scandal? That wouldn't be like me to do.

I think a lot of people didn't like Dan's style of confrontation. He had sort of a double-edged sword going on: he'd go to every forum and argue about the technical aspect of things, which earned him many fans, but after a while, I think a lot of people got tired of his tirades. I mean, how many big flame battles has he had online in 5+ years now?

Im surprised how many people think that music with virtually inaudible distortion sounds dry or lifeless. I didnt think they sounded "dry", or "lifeless"? actually the problem that i had with them (2 12" xxx's, and 1 12" and 1 15" brahma) were that they seemed to lose output fairly drastically above about 45-50 hz... maybe it was the boxes, maybe i have odd tastes, i don't know. just know it did not impress me As far as perfection in sound reproduction.. that's a never ending quest

A lot of people were screwed over. There were many unfulfilled orders, recones that took months to get back to the customer, drivers that were sent out, never to be seen again.

Ah yes, that is a valid issue with the mentioned subs (I have 2 xxx's). I always recommend a serious midbass setup when running those subs. But remember, there are xbl^2 mids that extend much higher than the freqs you mention, plus there have been rumors of xbl^2 tweeters coming out for a few years now, so clearly the motor topology is not a limiting factor in upper freq extension.

Yeah, as i said.. It could have been the boxes, tuning, etc. alot of factors, really. those bastards took almost a year to get my B15 reconed and didn't give any type of discount. when I did finally received the sub back, the cone & surround weren't even centered on the basket correctly.

I wonder how that new ADI company they have will hold up.

It was 95Honda, theres threads about it on CSo and Forceaudio I think. He made a theater while he was over there and was good friends with Wiggins and he was SUPPOSED to get some Tempests or something specially made for him, but he never got them, blah, blah, blah.
