Hey my shiva is still up for sale. I have new pics of it out of the box and wrapped.... I'm looking for 80 + ship or 100 shipped if you are east coast (will save you money).... anyways it's never been clipped (my old SS rubicon had a clipping detector). Always lived in 1cf sealed with 200w. Isn't costmetically perfect but it is 100% functional... this is a PERFECT starter SQ sub. Throw it in 1.5cubes sealed with 300w!!!!

Don't know much about the Shiva -- what is the impedance of this sub (it's DVC i assume?, so what imp on each coil?) How does it compare to a 12w6 (it is a 12", right? or is it bigger?)

it's a DVC 8ohm, so you can run it at 4ohms or 16... from what I can tell it's equivilant to a W6 (never owned a w6), it's a 12" and is well known for being hard hitting at lower freqs... it's a best of an SQ sub... you'd want ~1.5cubes in a car with 300w or 2-4cubs for a HT with the same wattage... they are designed for sealed boxes...

do a search for shiva and you'll see many shiva love fests and many thread where people say "I wish I hadn't sold mine"... it's really an amazing woofer... that's why I'm going nuts over the lack of interest.
