I would never buy anything from adire. All the new shit is breaking and when it does break you'll have to wait 234872894729834 years to get it fixed. IF it worked properly and never broke it would be decent but better can be had.

The previous line, mainly the MK3 Brahma, had a lot of trouble. The new ones have had a very very low return rate according to Adire. Also, I have yet to see any threads here or anywhere regarding failures in the newest series of Adire woofers as well.

I'm just speculating here, but it's possible that the worst is behind them in terms of lackluster build quality.

Never had a problem with my Brahmas. Love Um. Heard great things about Tumult's.

Note: this guy has MKIVs and is perfectly happy with them. There have been no complaints of MKIVs breaking yet everyone still keeps talking about all the new stuff breaking.

Not to mention, you wouldn't be dealing with Adire to get your sub warrantied, you would be dealing with Kyle from Acoustic-Visions, who is an upstanding guy. Not to mention AV's 3 year warranty is nice. The ONLY reason why Adire can be somewhat annoying is because they tend to take forever on recones. If you know what your doing, you shouldn't need one in the first place.

I think they switched buildhouses again to ensure recones woudlnt' take as long anymore.

You blindly read too much on car audio forums.

The failure rate has been discussed in depth several times and, despite the varying numbers (25%, 50%, 80%, 100%) of failure given, there has been little to no proof. When Kevin Holden started a thread asking "who has had issues with new Adire product?", only one person answered that they had. In fact, the people who yap the most about damaged Adire product are people who haven't even bought any Adire product at all; doesn't make much sense, does it?

Actually, they are made mostly for car audio. Please note the lower efficiency and lower Vas (compared to many home audio drivers). They are listed under both smarty pants. Tumults are a crossover driver. In between optimal of home and car. The Fs is lower than most drivers made for mobile.
