Adding tweeters?

Ok so I have RE coax 6.5"s up front now, would this be dumb or would it not work to add a crossover and tweeters to help with highs?

They're not lacking as much as they're not, I guess, detailed and defined. Maybe crisp would help too.

Put some comps up front & sell the coaxials or use them for rear fill

i wouldnt. you dont want two different kinds of tweeters with completely different parameters and responses playing the same frequencies over each other.

if you're just looking for "more highs" they'll give you that, but it wont sound the way a properly set up component set or a good coaxial would.
