Adding rear fill, should I do mids only?

I finally decided to get a 4 channel amp and replace my blown rear stock speakers and I was wondering if I should just replace them back there with mids and bandpass them to blend the sub stage in with the front stage. What are your guys' thoughts on that?

My amp is an MB Quart Q4.80 and I can bandpass the 3rd and 4th channels so I figured it would work nicely.

i was actually asking the same question but my goal is just to get loud so my choice really was either a second comp set in the back or some 6x9 coaxials.
oh okay, I dont' really need my front stage much louder, just want it to blend better for low level listening like SQ comps.

if thats your goal and from what i kept hearing your best choices would just be either no rear speakers or just some mid bass drivers
mid bass drivers are exactly what i'm looking for, and at the last comp a judge told me it wasn't blending well enough with my front stage at 100hz and my rear at 70hz so I wanted to throw something in the middle bandpassed around those.

I have not had that problem yet.. My Hertz splits shine at 70-100 so I guess I would suggest spending to money from the rear fill on new splits up front. Hertz, Focal, Morel, the new JL ZRS($$$$ not my first choice).. The best SQ cars I have heard only had nice comps up front and a single sub in the rear.. On no more the 800 watts or so

This truck is more SPL than SQ, but up here I compete in both for best of show points and have lost out on the last couple shows because of one or two points on my SQ sheet. I'll look into other comp set but I think I'm gonna order some silver flute to throw back there for now, and if I decide to go active sometime I can just switch the sets out.
