I own a Pioneer Premier DEH-P980BT head unit. 13 band auto equalizer, time alignement, ect. I have it hooked up to the iPod control box with my iPod in the glovebox. Nice stereo.
Anyway, I would like to add a flip up DVD player instead of paying hundreds for a new DVD head unit which won't even have the auto eq. and time alignement, ect. I have a double din dash and would just install it above the Pioneer tuner.
I would like a good brand DVD player, doesn't need radio tuner functions or built in audio amplification. I would only need L/R RCA outputs to go to the Pioneer head unit and audio/video inputs would be a nice touch. I also own alot of blu-rays, would a dvd player play them; are blurays all dual layered with DVD encoded or am I out of luck? I have thus far only watched them on my PS3 so I don't know if I can play them in regular DVD players? If I can't watch my blurays in my car, I may reconsider...
Thanks!
