Adding extra battery???

I plan on installing a second battery for my amp which is going to be 3200 rms, what would be a good battery for this, also what is the device that keeps batteries separate from each other? Thanks for any help.

batteries from each other is called an isolator...and for that much ur gonna need more than one to be safe

Just trying to get the story straight since it seemed like you were saying in the other thread that you were looking for a 1500 watt amp. What subs are you using anyways?

If you're wanting to run 3kw without upgrading your alternator, I have a couple of big batteries that will do you well.

I normally run an extra big battery for every 1500 watts I'm running(if I don't plan on upgrading my alt). So with your setup I'd go with 2 big extra batteries(g31 sized or larger).
