Adding Big Rims?

Just looked at that tire calculator and the 20's I'd be looking at would be as big as the stock ones. And yes, I have thought about the whole pothole factor (after all, I live in Minnesota). Spinners would be nice but if one was seized up... No, not a good idea lol.
This statement makes me think you're too stupid to even have a driver's license. Don't waste money putting anything on a **** Achieva. If you want to put a nice system in it to make driving around more enjoyable, that's one thing. But Rims are solely a cosmetic add-on, and no matter what you buy, you can't make an Achieva cool.

Which brings up the other point that I'd maybe like to lower it (again, still unsure because of rim situation) but I don't know if I'd do lo-pro tires on 18's when I could beef them up a little for more protection...

I like chrome because they are flashy and bright. I did put in a decent system (for now) and I plan on painting the car too. And nate... Who's car is it?

Good rims with good chrome look great. You may have to spend more for the look desired but it would be worth it (good car rims are expensive and so are chrome ones for my wheeler //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif).

Audiobahns are just insulting IMO and they certainly don't look as good as big chrome rims. Hey Hintzyboy, what kind of car does your mom drive?
Meh. I just think big chrome rims are way over done. They look good from time to time on SUV's, but that's it. Too many *insert racial slur here* have them on every pile of crap car possible. I'd just try to find something more original.

2004 Honda Pilot. Now in that vehicle you could actually fit the asinine substage you're talking about in the other thread.

Simpleton.

TheUnder...: I live in MN and I haven't seen ANY upgraded Achievas. Yes, you could say that they are crap, but you don't personally own that car in the condition that mine is in. It would also be very original because no Oldsmobiles have rims on them (unless "they" have an older Cutlass).

Hintzy: Honda Pilots aren't much better than my car and, if what you say is correct, BOTH of the cars could fit that system. (Another Stereotype: At least I don't live in the sticks haha)

Because no one would bother doing such a thing. But in any case, I think just about any car will benefit from some proper rims, I'm not against that idea. But I just think chrome is way over done. And getting rims that are so big they ruin your car's handling, ride, transmission, and gas mileage is just non sense. But I think if you look for some proper 18's it could look decent. the chrome is just a matter of my opinion.

1. There is a reason nobody has ever upgraded an Achieva. They're not worth upgrading.

2. A Pilot is a three-row SUV. If you think your compact sedan/coupe has anywhere near as much room, you're dumber than I thought.

3. If that "living in the sticks" comment was directed at me, Anoka has maybe 5,000 more people than my town.

I wonder how many people who saying cars with big wheels and rubber band tires rise bad have ever ridden in vehicles with huge 28s and 30s on rubber bands.

Also second the idea of leaving it stock. It's an Achieva.
