the XXX is not the sub for me... thats really all i can say about it...

its nice... dont get me wrong... but i dont have the space to give

it or the power that its hungry for...

id gladly send it to a better home for the right price or trade...

not doing much but collecting dust at this point anyways...

the pup is the only 15" i have right now...

and i bought it... i may as well use it...

im not going to put the poor pup on a light

So It's not that the pup outperforms the XXX in your opinion just that you did not like the XXX so your using the pup for now.

Setup:

Hu- Pioneer 8600

Sub- 12 XXX in a 3ft cu ported box

Amp- RF 1001bd

and another amp for speaks.

the XXX hands the funky pup its *** on a silver platter... dont

get me wrong... maybe the funky pup is a little punchier since

its so light... which i personally like a little better... but in terms

of SPL and overall sound quality... the XXX destroys it... i just

dont see the point in all the added weight to my trunk for

a sub that im not enjoying at all... at least i enjoy the pup a little...

and i dont really worry about the pup... if it blew or something on

me i would be out 15 bucks not 400...

mmwings... can you take a pic of your interior now with the HU...

thats what keeps me away from getting a HU is that the dash

is so nicely integrated and the climate controls are displayed on

the HU....

get another amp. you dont need another sub. your only giveing that sub half the power it can take.
