I have purchased a sound processor and I'm wondering how I should power both my amp and the processor?

I had a friend tell me to add a battery in the back then branch off from that batteries post.

I originally thought to instal a distribution block for the two then branch off to both with different fuse sizes from the block.

Which would be the best way to go?

Only reason i dont want to do the battery if i dont have to is because i dont have much room in the trunk as it is...

Also what fuse sizes for everything

my amp came with a 100 AMP fuse. I'd assume a 20 AMP for the processor. If i run one line to the back what fuse for the main line?

Distro should be fine. 4g OFC will handle up to about 150A. Split 4 --> 4, 8 for amp and the processor. If you go that route you will want a distro with a 150A and 60A fuse.

It is a little overkill with the batteries, but underkill with the alternator. Ideally, you want an alternator that will keep up with your system...
