well i have been seeing people add another car battery to there car. I was just wondering what does this help with your car audio system and which one would you guys recomend me buying.

Helps with your voltage drops. I used to live in eagan, but i moved to saint paul. Eagan is a Nice area.

yes you should get less dimming

i like Deka. remybattery.com or if you have a carquest you can get ngt extreme. same as Deka.

adding an extra battery is probably the most cost effective electrical upgrade period. Most stock alternators can handle adding an extra medium to large sized battery in the trunk if you do your "big 3" wire upgrades (search big 3). you're amps will have more power and be much less stressed. i also recommend bumping only with your rpm's at or above 2k. bumping hard with your rpm's at idle you're putting alot of stress on the electrical.

deka's are great. used optima red or yellow tops for around 100-125 are GREAT investments. brand new they are just shy of $200 at car part stores and if you're goign to spend that much might as well go bigger and get a kinetik 2400 or a powermaster d3100. if you have the money get a d3100, those *****es are badass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
