adding a fan to an amp case

Of course I dont ^___^

I was going to build a case out of wood, 2 small openings on each side for speaker wire/+/-/remote and the other side for the RCA

Have a plexi glass top which can be opened with a small latch

and a fan on the inside to help keep it cool, one for air in and one for air out

If its ina case i would think itll be hotter, so unless its for looks dont bother
How would it be hotter? He's gonna have one pulling cool air in and one pushing air out. It'll help the airflow immensely considering in a case there is no air flow. The amps will be using the same hot air over and over.

Just make sure you choose the right fan. A lot of the quieter fans (those around 20db) are just that...silent...but they don't move much air. To be effective they need to be AT LEAST 80mm fans. Any fan smaller is pretty much useless for your application.

Get a relay, hook up the positive of the fan to the relay and the remote turn on of the amp to the relay too. This way when ur amp turns on the fans will turn on. than the negative u can always just ground it or connected it to the ground of ur amp since it'll ground that way anyways.

Wire the relay as follows:

85: remote wire from your h/u

86: ground

30: 12v

87a: empty

87: outputs to accessories (fans, lights, amps, etc.)
