Adding a battery backed up siren

I recently got an alarm installed and I have read on here that it's a good idea to have a battery powered backup siren. I didn't install the alarm and have no desire to know how to install them, however this seems like a pretty simple task. So how would I do it?

Battery backup sirens are 1980's technology. I prefer the 520T battery backup. Unlike the powered siren the 520T keeps the alarm working not just the siren.

The battery back up sirens are basic. 12v power, ground and a trigger wire.
