come again?that did mess me up last night.

not hardcore but i found it a challenge to walk straight.

here in about 15 minutes im going to take two of the painkillers and a lunesta and see how that does.

I find it extremely disappointing that the original poster can walk into a doctors office, have the doctor prescribe him a medicine, and then he tells the doctor he wants something different and the doctor just does it. All he had to say is he did "some research" online about this drug, just give it to me because i need it now.
Too many people are taking the easy way out. Most of the kids today taking these pills don't need them, period. It is becoming a huge epidemic among college/high school kids that are taking these pills. They either get to to sell them to other people who are hooked on them or get them because they are hooked themselves.

Maybe you should change your lifestyle a little, change your eating habits, change your daily routine. Just because you change position in your chair often or can't concentrate does not mean you have ADD or ADHD and need these drugs. Stop being a lazy American youth and do something about it. The medicine should be used for people who actually need it.

What's sad is the people who ruin a good thing for those with real problems. I understand about the weight-loss pills, but the rest are real problems that people can't solve on their own most of the time.

Depression can tear up your life, and unless you've been there, you have no idea how it feels. My mom almost died because her clinical depression began to manifest itself in physical ailments.

Personally, I lie awake for hours trying to sleep. I can have a normal, active day, go to sleep at a decent time, and still end up getting only 4 hours of sleep.

The trouble isn't people needing help with issues they can't control. It's people taking sleeping pills or snorting ground-up addies to "feel good."

It's the people who don't work, draw a government check every month, spend all their money on cigarettes and alcohol and complain that their medicines are a dollar (literally $1) and complain about being depressed. How are you not going to be depressed with that lifestyle?

My mom has trouble sleeping as well, she takes medication for it. But she's in bed by 10 every night and still can't fall asleep. People who get their ambien, lunesta and other narcotic sleeping medications just to mix them with alcohol that piss me off. Don't even get me started on meth addicts....

These people are the reason I hope to one day work in the drug rehab field.

Most definitely. It's the welfare urchins who are making it so old people have to choose between medication and groceries. Then you get a bunch of punk kids who grind up and snort oxycontin for a high, and people who really need it have a much harder time getting it. They're talking about putting major restrictions on adderall because college and highschool kids snort the shit. Worthless pricks. If all you want to do is get high, do it with illegal drugs so people who need the prescripstions can get them. You're just going to end up on coke and speed once snorting adderall doesn't work anymore. Save us the time.

but when i was taking lunesta it was really hit and miss, somedays it would work great, others i wouldnt feel it at all..it just made me really sleepy...i was woken up from it once when someone texted me and i forgot to turn my phone off and i couldnt type a coherent message, and the next morning i didnt remember that happening so...ya

One time it was late and I guess he had taken some but not gone to sleep. He asked me to go to the store with him so I did and he drove. Went about 20 the whole way, lol, not too big a deal tho cuz we were on neighborhood roads with 35mph speed limit.

What killed me tho is he turned my stereo up nearly 100% full volume! My pioneer goes up to volume 40, and I tell him all the time never turn it up past 30, yet he was blasting it at 38 and 39 and then I would turn it down and tell him to stop, 10 seconds later full volume again. With Boston Z6's getting 250w a piece and 2 15" SI Magnums ported getting 800 a piece, I think it's a little unnecessary to turn it up that loud, lol.

The next day when I told him about it he didnt remember anything. Not one thing. Not driving, not going to the store, not turning the music up, nothing. Pretty scary if you ask me.

i was prescribed it because i had my schedule at work changed and had to go in at 3 in the morning and i could not get my sleeping schedule on track for that. i had literally slept maybe 4 hours between a friday night and a wednsday. i took them as prescribed and when i stopped taking them i still had a bunch left.

and the fact that insurance wouldnt cover it and it was ~140 bux for what i got, i will take them any fvcking way i please for that price.

Yeah my dad is on Ambien, and one night after he took it he passed out on the couch just sitting there. I woke him up and we talked about something, then he went to bed like 15 minutes later. In the morning he couldn't even recall falling asleep on the couch.
