Active tweets with head unit power?

Anyone run an active setup with your headunit powering your tweeters? Is this even possible, perhaps with with one of the higher end Eclipse decks (8445/55)?

It would be really nice not to have to buy another amp and since many tweets really don't need very high power.... ya see where I'm going with this.
