yea the h701 is a good unit. i have never used it so i can't walk you through how to set it up. but i'm 99.9% sure it can band-pass the mids.

no, the mids are playing up to 2k. the tweets are playing down to 2.5k. if you use steep slopes you can get things to play lower or higher without an issue.

x2, ditch the rears. they won't be needed.
