Active Crossover Question

I got an MTX LSX2 crossover today for free. It came with no manual. There's a switch on it labeled "Multiplier" and has two settings: x1 and x20. I have no idea what this means. I also have no idea what the switch that is labeled "Parallel" (on or off) is for. MTX's page has specs on it, but no downloadable manual. The specs say it can be 2-channel x 3-way, or 4-channel x 2-way. I don't know if the switches have anything to do with that or not...

Any help would be much appreciated.

the multiplier "multiplies" the frequencies... so if on the adjustments it has "5", with the switch on 1x that means 5hz and with it on 20x it means 100 hz etc...

idk what parallel is, id have to see a look at it
