Does the MX5 offer crossovers on channels 1-4 that can be defeated or set to full to allow processing at the HU?

How were you planning to use that EQ in an active setup? It only has one stereo input, in other words, you won't be able to use the head units crossovers or time alignment.

This thread looks to have been made before we talked about a separate equalizer and parametric equalization on the CZ702. If I may assume you meant NX5 instead of MX5, you can just take the EQ7 off the list and you will have what you need for a 5-channel active system.

After doing some research yesterday, I realized this. Thanks for the info, though! I'm also interested in just a little SQ bass. I'm thinking of doing a nice 8".

I also much prefer the look of the DEH-80PRS. I keep hearing people with fico fuse issues. Is this something EVERYONE experiences with this HU? How can i t be prevented?

No pico fuse issues here but the bass doesn't really start to appear till about 45 out of 60 and the deck clips anything over 55 at least on mine. It to some finesse but my system is starting to come together

Yeah, that CZ702 has a great price but it is hideous! My G/F said she would get it for my B-Day in November. Who would be the best person to go to for custom doorpanels?
