Acrylic Boxes..?

I've ued them before. You gotta make sure you get the tight glue for it or itll come apart in no time. They also typically last a year, due to acrylics shelf life. Not worth it in my oppinion unless you go to shows.

Also not an ideal acoustic material, you want a box that dampens soundwaves, like MDF does, not reflect them. Well, this can depend I guess, SPL guys often get a few more decibals by covering the inside of their box with resin, I'd assume it suffers in SQ though.

I agree with both of you on the acoustic aspect and the life of the box. Thanks for the 2 cents! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
