ACC/Remote wire

hello i just installed a Sony GT 260 MP on a ATV it has a diagram of the wiring that shows a Blue/black striped wire going to the amp and a Red wire going to ACC, I had the amp hooked up before i added the sony head(using just a MP3 player)the amp has a remote wire hooked up that turns it on/off when i turn on the key,Do i have to hook up both the ACC wire and the Remote wire from the sony or will just 1 work going to my remote wire coming from amp?if so wich 1 the blue/white striped wire or the red wire. Im kinda confused.any help on this would be great. Thanks

blue/white wire should be the remote turn on wire and that should be the only one you need to connect to get the amp to turn on. Are we talking an external amp or the internal amp inside the HU?

then u just need to connect the blue/white wire for the remote turn on.
