About to order

dont see why people are so quick to jump on degrading Cadence products when someone is interested in hearing/buying their gear.....doesnt make sense to me. imo its like let the person obtain their own opinion about the products. Ive always wents mainstream with my audio, like kicker, sony, pioneer etc and this past few months i knew nothing of Cadence, but went out on a limb with their components and Love them and now waiting to install a set of their sw2-8's as stated above. i just must say from what gear i have from them, I am very impressed(reason i tried for a sponsorship)
There are several reasons why people jump on that band wagon. Mainly personal reasons. However, what they do not understand is that having companies that support forums and the hobby itself are few and far between and that attempting to drag them down with things that are beyond most consumers understanding only hurts the hobby itself.

This hobby is based on over kill is best no matter what. However, 99% of those that participate with in this hobby have lost touch with what really works and is needed.

I'm testing/reviewing the S1 and S2 line and some of their wire. So far we have been overly impressed with their products and prices. I have 5 sets of their components in the doors of the demo truck and they are great with amazing sound. Even more so when the price is considered.

Sw8s looks great. i agree.

i think cadence could become more popular with dvc compared to almost all svc subs.

if it was up to me i would have a fuller line up such as a sub line 1000-1200rms. if those are priced rite and built rite can put a car company on the map and tells they are serious.

you guys remember when db drive started with the PL series of sub it put them on the map! cadence needs something like this and sell at a very lil profit for 1 yr it will put there name in everybodys mouth...

their new lines(s1 and s2) are dvc subs minus the 8's in the s2 line. seems now that their lines are about even with dvc vs svc subs.

i also agree with a possible option of a line that is around 1000w-1200w for the subs at a good price, but their products are priced decently enough where multiple subs can be purchased to give you the sound you want without breaking your piggy bank.

Just received my S2-12! It's an amazingly accurate sub. I have ran countless variety of subs in my life, and I have heard even more, but I cannot think of a sub to adequately compare the S2-12 to. This sub was built to accommodate a wide, wide variety of users, and is still one of a kind. After a little more experimenting, i will find the subtleties, and try to explain with a better attention to detail. I honestly can't think of an application this sub couldn't fit. As an SQ sub-of course it's accurate. As an SPL type sub-yes, it has a very stiff and light cone, it can be a very powerful ground pounder. I will have an even better review as I learn more about it.

We have tested the sub in various sealed, ported, and bandpass subs ourselves and have came to a very similar conclusion. I(more like Amber) is still writing up the overall review and going from raw data to a nice written up review. I'm more direct then she is so it should read rather well when she is finished.

I have been looking forward to your review, but I had to take a leap of faith and purchase it while the funds were available. I believe it was the right decision. When I get the money saved up, I am dropping the Rockfod Fosgate 360.2 and going with a set of Cadence CVL2XR signal processors for an active front stage. i have one already and this thing is a beast!. It has to weigh over 5 pounds and is super solid. Plus with the time alignment, it's practical for everyday user (because of the ease of use) and competitive pricing. I was gonna ask the Cadence representative on here if it would be okay to get a "Gut" shot of the processor without voiding my warranty. I honestly can't wait till I get my other Cadence equipment so I can compete again. I really miss seeing all the good people at shows.
