About to order speakers and wires. Will my setup plan work? (picture)

Hello!

I am new to the forum and new to car audio in general.

Appreciate any feedback and tips on my plan for upgrading my car audio.

I currently have the:

Pioneer Stereo

Pioneer 4"

Kenwood 5" speakers already installed in the car.

So I am about to purchase the:

Rockford Fosgate P300-12 Punch 300 Watt

Rockford Fosgate Prime R1T-S tweeters

+ Boss Audio KIT2 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit.

I included a picture of my wiring plan. Will it work - do I have enough power?

You can't run the speakers off the deck like that it will most likely blow most won't work at 2 ohm stereo

The stereo is 4 ohm and is currently running 2 Kenwood speakers and 2 Pioneer speakers.

no go, the R1t-s and the Ts--- can't be run on the same channel like that. if you had a crossover in line, then maybe...

yeah if the speakers have built in crossovers, you should be fine

That still does not address the 4 ohms in parallel (2 ohms). I wouldn't try it.

Not to mention i don't think just adding a tweeter like that will make it sound any better. (more likely it will sound worse) id look at adding a amp instead of the tweeter.

When you say 4 ohms in parallel , I'm assuming the tweeters connected to the Pioneer speakers?

What if I did not do the pioneer speakers, but just the tweeters on the front sides?

Have customers bring in that kit from walmart or ebay all the time. The 8 gauge is really like 22 gauge.

I went ahead and ordered the KnuKonceptz KCA Complete 8 Gauge Amp Installation Kit.

Will that do?

Also, the stereo calls for ohms between 4-8.

Will hooking the tweeter to the existing Pioneer 4ohm 25W rms speaker be an issue?

That kit is CCA. It will work here but won't work if you add power later on

It will work fine any application under 600 watts.
