Alright so I have decided to order the FI Q 12".

https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154bf5b64f175e0/shopdata/0050_Speakers/0030_Q/product_overview.shopscript

My current setup is:

HU: Alpine CDA-117

Speakers: ID CXS64

Speaker amp: Audison SRX4

Sub amp: MTX JH1200

Sub: Alpine type R

Box: Sealed just over .08 cubic feet

My system is mostly for SQ but I also want to have alot of power available to make it pound when needed. The sub handles 1000W RMS but claims with the cooling system you can push another 200-400W RMS. I plan to run my amp and 1 ohm 1200W to it.

1. Is the MTXJH1200 ok to run at 1ohm? It lists 1 ohm stable but I want to make sure I wont run into any problems and possibly blow it.

2. What options should I get with the FI Q? Im getting cooling and high QTS since its a sealed box but what about spider and I heat ring?

3. Any other suggestions/recommendations.

Thanks for the input guys, hope I can get some final thoughts before I buy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

Hard to find a better sq amp than OS orion. I have one of these and many reds. All I run on subs. Thinking of trying a mono amp, just can't get past the thd, even though it is inaudible. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif

I'd honestly look into the IA Flatlyne....after never being able to get a response from Fi about anything such as recones to subs, I don't think I'd buy anything from them.

that's weird. I've emailed them around 10 times or so and have got a response every time the day after at the latest. Fi is usually really good to deal with.
