I have had a few systems over the years, and a couple of decent setups. But never anything remotely near "high end"
But am finnally making decent money, and just got a car that i feal is worth a quality install.
Planning out the install so far i have come up with:
HU: Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS
FRONT STAGE: Boston pro 60's
component amp: undecided/unconcerned at this point
SUB AMP: Hifonics XX-Hercules rated 2000w@1 \ 1300w@2

The thing is that i want to make a custom fiberglass box, and have about 2.5ft^3, can streatch to almost 3 if i really need to(or can go under by any amout).
And i need to fit a single 12 in there that will really wang hard, but still hold some decent quality. I have been looking at both the TC3000 and the SI MAG, but can not decide between the two of them.
For the power I plan on using (or other amp posible, for aproximetly $500-600), sealed or slot ported(only have aporximetly 9x4x10" widthXheightXlength to work with for a port)
I can build anything, just dont know how to engineer a box properly >
Any recomendations/coments/criticisms of any aspect of this setup are welcome, and would be appreciated, especially as far as the sub goes
or if you have a recomendation of another quality sub that may work well for me in the $500 range (anything that will get low and loud, aswell as staying fairly musical)
