you could try irragi, but I personally am weary about them myself. I think they are hit or miss as well. but some people dont. I would just save the extra money and go mechman.

your money. do what you want with it. i remember my bro talkin bout rebuilding alts with better parts or aftermarket parts to up the amps on them. google it before messin with a diff alt. im sure you can swap out some parts for cheaper

E-mail Mechman and see if they have any older alts for your car. I know the one they have on the site for my car right now is a 270 amp for $400 but I e-mailed them and they had a 200 amp for $250.

DO NOT buy an Iraggi...

Power Bastards has a 220A for that car... probably a little more money but the 220A I had on my 5.0 actually put out over 250A... idle was 130~ and that 250A max came at like 1100-1200 RPM and it has been doing fine for about 3 years now... 877-261-2472

EDIT: looks like $289...

Quick Start has them too 150A up to 350A, no idea on prices there though... 616-785-7990

I have a regular $60 battery. What is the estimated power that alt will give me? Cuz right now i'm not getting shit and need to upgrade.

i have a DB in my 98 malibu. Paid 230 for the 220a and it gets the job done and it got here in about 6 days, but i would suggest upgrading the battery
