Bump...could really use the knowledge.

What is SPL?

And advantages/disadvantages of ported -vs- bandpass subwoofer boxes.

SQ= well, sound quality.

SQL= same as above, but can still get loud.

SPL= just plain loud.

I can tell you though, if you new to this, stick with a simple ported box or go sealed. Sealed will give you a nice flat sound and not tend to peak at any one freq. Ported and tuned low will help give you a flater sound, but might still peak a little.

Yeah, my original idea was an 8.25 cube box for 2 AQ HDC315's powered by an AQ 2200D per sub. Just wondered about the pros/cons of bandpass for the next possible project. Thanks guys!
