????? about my system setup???????????

I currently have a Diamond Audio TDX 12 hooked up to a Diamond Audio D5 1200.1 amp, cap, and Stinger battery. I have it in a ported box facing the rear of my car. I have a 2000 Mercury Cougar which is a hatch, this weekend I am enerting my first car audio competition, and want to know what should i be hitting in the lanes, and what can i do (second skin, build a new box, etc.) to improve upon what I have already? The box I got was already made when I purchased the sub from Go-Ho Audio in Virginia Beach, Va.

hey man you definately wont hit very high so i wouldnt bother with it til you upgrade cause most cars nowadays have two or more subs......you dont stand a chance. trust me.
