? about Moe Lester's Plans?

are you guys smoking crack?
It is 3.15ft^3 before subwoofer displacement not port displacement.

I have searched and searched and cannot find this info from Kicker on what there subwoofers mounting displacement is in ft^3.

My type R's each take up 0.071ft^3 top mount and we need to know what the mountig displacemnt of the Kicker L7 is.

If you already have the Kicker L7 then look in the manual and it should tell you the subs mounting displacement in ft^3.
You talking to me. I understood in the beggining that he was talking about sub diplacement that is why I said it was 3.00 after sub diplacment, but he is talking about Port displacment. That is why I got all confused.

I think we should be asking u

Look i want a box that is 3.0^3+port displacement

And that box is 3.15^3 w/o port

SO that box works

Just say sub displacement is 0.15^3

SO it would match my 3.0^+port displacement

DO u c?

LOL,I just tried to apologize but my comp crapped and sharted but I am back and I whole heartedly sincerely apologize.

I have been up the last 20 or so hours and need sleep bad and I happened to miss the part were it was asked about port displacement so you are correct.

Again I sincerely apologize, this is what happens when one is in dire need of sleep, they miss things.

no u werent it is
3.15 be4 port

and something bigger after port is added
are you guys retarted? the box size actually gets smaller after port is put in. the port takes up space inside the box which takes away from the total volume.

correct the way boxes are generally looked at when you say displacement you are talking about how much space an object takes up inside the box not what it adds to the box there for the box would be 4+Ft^3 before all displacement then after port and sub displacement you end up with around 3 Ft^3 . And thus moe calculated his box planes for all displacement

This is a funny thread...

Brads plans are internal displacement after port...which means that the total volume of the box will be bigger then 3 to account for the port.

So if your manufacturer asks for 3 cubes @35 and a specific port area, you will need to take the 3 cubes and add what the port will be to get you the tuning and size you want...............

i only read the first page but the box looks to me to be 3.15 cubes NET, and it's an extra .15 cubes for driver displacement. this has prolly been said before but you people piss me off and an innocent person is gonna die now
