?? ABOUT A VAN and these two 18"s.

The second is my family \ KILL people with sound GMC 2500 Vandua Van !!

IN my van I have:

Orion HCCA 250 DR amplifier:

Two 10" P series subwoofers:

One Rockford Fosgate 800 W 4 channel amp -> two 6x9's.

If I replaced my 10" Orion subs with the cone space of these two 18"s .

Since I know that my amp puts out close to 1000 Watts RMS \ CLOSE !!!

Then the pair of 18's would be a fair match ehh ?

Thus said ! If I replaced them with such 18's ... Would I be louder with the consideration that all my parameters on the box is built correctly, box itself has no leaks etc.. Givin the required RMS value the two 18's will need would I be louder ?

Also, these pair of 10" Orions pound so **** hard that they make my voice vibrate sitting in the FRONT of my van, in the back of my van they make people very uncomfortible to the point they dont want it up anymore.

So would I lose the Punchy Bass ? Would the sound be louder outside teh van ?? I have not had anything pound harder than these two 10" Orions . But like everyone who has even what they feel is the best subwoofer of all the ones they have owned, they want better or louder !

18's in the right box will rock, all you need to do is find the power and box size for them, and they will be louser than the 10's

Ouch ... Nothing I watched on realm of excursion about MA 18"s impressed me at all. LOL.. my 10's make my mirrors in my VAN .. move so bad I cant depend on them when I drive, my rear view moves like hell too.. its in the back seat or middle captains chairs you dont want to sit in when the bass really hits //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Plus my van flexes from them !!! So .. back to the ole search o rama for more cone space + same power = more output than my pair of Orion P series 10's.
