In the case of ****, the pregnancy is a result of an unwilling act by the mother; she should not have to bear the weight of the child, nor should the system. Pregnancy testing is often required or recommended when someone is *****, so these circumstances are ideally caught early.
In the case of harm to the mother, it is again a circumstance beyond the mother's control, and if the child poses a significant risk to her immediate health, then the mother has the right to protect herself.
both sides of this issue are being idiots. one side wants it banned altogether, the other side wants kids to have the ability to get it without parents knowledge, and supports partial birth abortions. most people are somewhere in the middle.

Pro Choice.

I personally think there are better options in most cases that the mother should take advantage of rather than abortion.

But, I'm pro choice. Until we can define what is or when the ***** becomes "human" I don't think it's the government's place to dictate ethics based on religious agendas.

Pro choice ONLY for **** victims and life threatening births.
IF you do not want the baby, im sure there are plenty of couples that do not have the ability to have kids that are ready and willing to adopt a child. Abortion = easy way out
This is how I feel too. There are too many different forms of contraceptive out there for people to have an excuse for aborting. If a chick wants to get her muffin moist that's all fine and dandy, but they shouldn't be able to cop outta resposibility and cry to some creepy doctor with a moustache just because she's too lazy to take the pill. Guys don't get a choice when it comes to paying for child support if they have the kid now do we.

And I completely agree with the adoption statement. My little sister was adopted.

so if your g/f or wife was pregnant and the doctors knew she couldnt survive the birth, what would you do? have the baby? or adopt a child?
Fuck the baby im pro choice im just confused how people who are pro life can allow "babymurdering" even if it was against someones will. The baby had no control over that so why should they be killed as a result?

Because in the case of **** or molestation the event that took place was traumatic enough; forcing the woman to carry, deliver and potentially raise a child as a reminder of what happened is just salt on an open wound and probably wouldn't be very mentally healthy for her. Should she dicide to carry it out power to her.

Pro Life, and just because you were ***** doesn't mean the child does not deserve the chance to live. Also doesn't mean that you have to keep it, or that you wouldn't actually end up being thankful for your child. Not the means by which you received the child. But the child.

I know this rather personally. You don't have to agree.

I really hope you have gotten to know mothers with children that are a result of ****, who actually are thankful for their children, before you think that women in general are going to consider it a "mental health issue." That's a offensively ignorant statement.

So, we're not dingos but we are no better than hyenas. Interesting.
He means that we're way smarter than dingo's but neck and neck with hyenas. Dolphins being the pinnacle of intelligence, of course.

Read between the lines, he's trying to crowbar his stance on creationism into this, dolt.

so a ***** victim should not have a choice? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
As it stands, of course that being a horrible scenario, it is not even close to being the majority. Read any research on abortions and almost every article, that is honest, will fill you in on how many of these abortions are from people who want *** without responibility.

Completely agreed. From what I've heard from post abortion women, that causes more problems than anything. The easy way out ends up not being so easy.
