IF you do not want the baby, im sure there are plenty of couples that do not have the ability to have kids that are ready and willing to adopt a child. Abortion = easy way out

x2, given they do it fast enough. Once it becomes a *****, I believe they should carry it on with the pregnancy and if need be, give it up for adoption.

It should only be legal if it's the result of **** or will put the mother's life in danger. There is no such thing as "choosing" to kill a human being, and a child is no different. If you wish to argue when a ***** becomes a human being, then that is a great matter to analyze scientifically, but there's no room for choice.

I personally think there are better options in most cases that the mother should take advantage of rather than abortion.

But, I'm pro choice. Until we can define what is or when the ***** becomes "human" I don't think it's the government's place to dictate ethics based on religious agendas.

I used to be all about pro choice, which there are cases like many have mentioned in here. Pretty obvious the people on here are either acting like retards because they have no kids and never had the expierence or if they do, then that is pretty pathetic.

Having kids has changed my life for the better. I couldn't imagine not having my little girl in my life, rather that be with my wife or even if I was single. I will always take care of her, no matter what.

This is how I feel too. There are too many different forms of contraceptive out there for people to have an excuse for aborting. If a chick wants to get her muffin moist that's all fine and dandy, but they shouldn't be able to cop outta resposibility and cry to some creepy doctor with a moustache just because she's too lazy to take the pill. Guys don't get a choice when it comes to paying for child support if they have the kid now do we.
And I completely agree with the adoption statement. My little sister was adopted.

Understandable, but just want to clear something up. Just because someone is on the pill don't mean she can't get pregnant. Some women are just baby factorys, insert my wife here, lol! She got pregnant while on the pill. Also some women can't take the pill for whatever reason as it makes them to sick. And condoms can break, which has been my case with my 1st child. So you can take all the precautions you want, but don't always mean it will work. Still playing with fire. Only real way IMHO to not get someone pregnant is to get cut or fawk a chick with her tubes tied..........

Sucks if you are young, but condoms and pills may work in most cases............like I said most cases.

So should we not be able to cut any trees down because they're living?

I got you from the word go, thing is thinking as we do the situation where our government is taking this should make you want to question their ethics. I just think you are passive over the subject, and I made a suggestion what to do or look for. When I was younger I was passive in how I followed politics and over the last 4 years I learned how to follow voting records (mainly because my cousin worked for the local DNC) and which leads you to look up governmental topics. When you look up those up generally you will find sites over those topics that allow you to sign up and send automated letters to the people in office you vote for in your state. It also makes it a lot easier to follow bills and amendments that intrest you because they generally keep you updated. No biased news and no twists. Its also less boring and less time consuming than watching Cspan:laugh:My neighbor is a huge Obama supporter (was i should say). I told him what the democrats were going to do about abortion and he and his wife laughed and thought I was full of shit. This afternoon while taking out the garbage he appoligized...sad part about this is the left wing media did not talk much if anything about the Freedom of Choice Act. Sure the economy is important but there were other issues they should have covered.

I'm not for abortion. I'm not for killing any person. I think all pregnancies happen for a reason, even **** victims. Its fuxed up, but it happens for a reason. At the same time, Im not a fanatic trying to kill abortion clinic doctors either. That would make me a hypocrite if I thought it was okay for a little baby bastard child to live, but think killing a person was right IMO

It is not one person who should or can get it done, if you have disagreements with how things are and you shrug things off you are doing what the loud mouth minority wants. The majority of people who are pro-abortion do not like the Freedom of Choice Act needless to even add in the Pro-Lifers. If you sit back and pay attention to things AFTER the fact you then lose your right to even have an opinion..your opinion and how you change things is your vote, thing is the way the country is going especially within the far left Democratic party they would rather keep people as divided as possible and promise sections of divided people worthless legislation over the grand scheme of things to get votes..

I don't mind people who are pro-life. I understand it. I personally believe that you have to leave people to their own devices. It's their problem, let them deal with it how they see fit. I don't think it's right for the government to enact laws that impede on it, because, just like gay marriage, it attempts to put a definition to words that we all know, such as love, and life. "When does life start?" Is it the second the sperm reaches the egg? When the heart starts? When it starts to look like a human instead of a **** alien? When it comes out of the womb? Or when it actually becomes cognitive (the human brain, once out of the womb, isn't exactly "cognitive". It just reacts, much like reptiles. It basically is run by the ID center of your brain, which is just a really primitive part of your brain. Point is, I don't think it's right for ANYONE to impose their beliefs forcefully onto someone else.

I respect people who are religious, I am not... But, I won't sit there and say, "BUT WHAT ABOUT THIS FLAW?!" Just as I expect that person to not come in my face and start yelling "JESUS WILL SET YOU FREE!"

But, that's the problem, I believe. Most people have no respect for each other. It's as if there is only one truth in the world for EVERYTHING, only one perspective, and that's yours... and if anyone else doesn't see it that way, they're definitively wrong.

Everyone keeps calling girls who get pregnant when they don't want it whores... but that's not true at all. My Mom, who was everything but a whore, got pregnant when she was 16. She had the kid, and it completely ruined her life. She gave it up for adoption, but by that time, she was already behind in school, she didn't have enough money to really life, and ended up having to drop out and join the work force to pay for the hospital bills. After she told the father she was pregnant, he high-tailed it out of dodge, and she, to this day, doesn't know where the father is. She was in love, and things just went bad. I never really asked if she would've aborted if she had the option. But not all girls who get knocked-up are bad people. Some have just made bad decisions, and we've ALL made bad decisions, and sometimes, those bad decisions can get blown-up into proportions you never even knew existed.

Actually, in one of my classes, I overheard this girl talking to her friend in class... she said that she had a kid, and here's where it becomes a quote because it's so fucked up, that it just stuck and I memorized it...

The Mom: "I don't really like her. I mean, when I first had her, I didn't care if she was in the room or not. You know? Like, I didn't really want to hold her. I mean, I WOULD, obviously, but I didn't care either way. I was just chillin'."

Other girl: "Wow"

The Mom: "Yeah, and I mean, we aren't really that close. She's more close to my mom. It's just that, I don't know, I don't really like her. Like, I haven't connected with her or nu'un."
