i understand ,digital designs did this to me ,but rusty and the crew has been straight up with me so far .

To be fair, DD went to an actual dealer/retailer. While I don't like how it went down, I can understand the decision.

Several companies do this. Any company that has a rep selling on forums will not get my business anymore, I'm sure this trend will continue with companies that allow such things to happen.

There's a major difference they were selling to my local avg joes at a price I couldn't even buy the woofers at.

i was a dealer retail for 4 years then i moved hadnt got a shop yet ,but they booted me without warning at all.went down really bad between myself and brad

That is what I was getting at. I know you didn't/don't have a store or what ever and that put them in the mind set to drop you. While it can/does make some sense, the manner in which it was done was rather negative. If things would have been brought to your attention in a different way perhaps things would have went better.

Dd lost me when they completely fucked up my m4a's I sent in and half *** fixed them

I remember that. That was not the first issue I have read with customer service. While many put that all on Kevin, that is not case..his hands are tied when the owners say no or give him options on resolutions.

yea maybe brad was a total ******* at the end of it ,basically just blew me off ,if thats how they treat people now i 'm glad i'm not a dealer for them anymore .your right there are better ways to handle the situation. they just didn't care enough to try .

Well, they do have almost entirely new staff at both DD and AQ...lol

Unfortunately tied or not they are responsible for what happened to the amps while in their possession lucky I didn't sue just to prove a point and make them spend a lot on lawyer fees.

They are a Chinese driver so of course they are going to cheaper then any non-Chinese option. XFL is a decent overall driver, and would work fairly well in a 2.0ft3 enclosure.


HDC would be in the SPL style category more so. Obviously leaving the BL and Xcon in a different picture. However, the Xcon and BL can put up very good numbers on their own while taken a great deal of abuse.

That makes sense, thanks. How would the HD preform compared to the BL? The HD is just a tad more then a loaded BL and it has more X-max, lower Fs too.
