AB VFR350.4 and C1100.4 - Exactly the Same?

The boards look identical to me... are there any differences whatsoever? AB > Crescendo in terms of customer support?

most things cost more for a reason . theres a reason that sundown amps cost more than cresendo for example . bigger power supplies and much more underated. same with the ab

almost bought a cresendo 3500 but take my AQ3500.1 for example little more money but the aq is more like a 4k board and the bc3500 is really only a 3500 board

What would be the meaningful differences then, using these two amps as an example? Are you talking about the quality of the power/speaker/rca connectors? And heatsink design?

Edit: I hate that this reads like a VERSUS thread which I know are despised. I am more interested in using these two amps, which I perceive to be near-identical, as examples to illustrate how the same apparent parts do not make two different companies' amps virtually the same in performance.

You would have to dissect the amps looking at each part to see all the differences. Various companies alter internal parts to work far more efficient and/or to put out more power, or to have better durability.
